This company OrangePeel Ltd has come up with a way of visualizing your goals and dreams by displaying your dream images, affirmations and power words on your computer screen. I though it was an interesting idea and decided to get a copy. Now that I have been using “Vision Board” for a couple of weeks, I thought I should share some of my impressions with you about whether or not it lives up to the promises that OrangePeel Ltd makes about it on their web site.

Is it really that easy to use? Would it really be that flexible and fun to create a personalized Vision Board? And what it comes down to: would it really keep me in a positive mindset and inspired to reach my goals and dreams?

The first thing that impressed me was how easy it was to order the product and get the download. I think I was actually putting pictures into the system after less than 10 minutes of ordering and I straight away received a stack of bonus products as well with my download. So that was a great start. Another thing I thought was really excellent was the simplicity of the system. It is simple, yet powerful.

I had a little play around, and got more and more excited as I discovered how easy it was to put my Vision Board together. I am always relieved when things actually work right the first time, and when the system is fool proof for people like me who are no computer geniuses. You can’t go wrong with the three simple steps they take you through. Even my 9 year old son could easily create his own Vision Board.

So then I really got stuck into it and found myself searching for inspiring images in my own gallery to include in the tool. I also checked out the image library that is included in the software, they had some cool pictures for me to use. I also found a fantastic picture on the Internet of my dream car. Really exciting to see that moving around on my screen all the time, talking about inspiration!

I started to come up with powerful affirmations to add to the pictures. The features that really impressed me were the libraries that come with the software. If you don’t know how to formulate an affirmation or power word, or just need some inspiration just use the library packed with great affirmations and power words.

You even get to choose the font and color of the affirmations that come up and you can decide whether to use colors or an image as your Vision Board background. I chose a picture I made on one of my travels of a beautiful ocean outlook, which inspires me to travel more with my family.

Once I put my Vision Board together with my images, affirmations, power words and my chosen background I thought “right, let’s see if this really works..”. So I clicked on “Preview” and pop there was my Vision Board showing on the screen! Wow, I felt as excited as a little child. I decided I wanted to change one of the affirmations, which was so easy to do. I like that a lot, as my dreams change from time to time so I can just adjust my Vision Board accordingly.

OrangePeel has JUST very recently released their latest edition Vision Board. Apart from all the powerful existing features, this “next generation Vision Board” includes some very excited extra modules. Firstly, it includes a valuable Audio Module. This module allows you to incorporate mp3 music and voice recordings into your Vision Board, which will then play anytime your Vision Board comes up. This truly inspires me to take massive action and I know by feeling as if I have already achieved it, I will attract it to my reality. This is what I have learned about The Law of Attraction: the more positive energy you give to your goals, the faster you will manifest it. When I turn on my computer in the morning my Vision Board shows as the wall paper. When I come back into my office after lunch or a meeting, my Vision Board is right there showing as the screensaver, so it makes me get right back to business. get what you need and get on your way quickly.

* Remember the "person" on the other end *

When something on your computer or a particular website
doesn't function properly, irritation seems a natural
reaction, especially when you have no clue why things don't
work or how to fix them. A sense of helplessness often leads
to feelings of frustration and anger. However, no matter how
upset you get, you must always remember that a live person
will receive your email communication and, in many cases,
they didn't cause your problem directly.

Remember, those email "missiles" that make you feel better
in the short term will almost always come back to haunt you
over the long haul.

When first asking for help, never send notes with phrases
such as "If you don't respond to me within two hours I'm
going to contact my lawyer." or "I sure hope this isn't a
scam." Rarely do such comments produce the cheerful help or
assistance you actually want.

* "Please" and "Thank You" *

Common courtesy goes a long way towards getting what you
want, especially regarding technical support. Notes with
nasty comments put the person on the receiving end in a bad

more severe later if you must.

* Don't use ALL CAPS *

Using all capital letters in an email rates the same as

When asking for help, always include your name, contact

contribute directly in assisting someone in giving you
exactly what you need.

Though the Internet and email may seem like an instant
solution to many problems, people still run the technology.
If you need help from another person, don't treat the person

Q. First off - can you tell us a little about yourself for those people that maybe haven't heard of you yet?

A. Sure. I first got involved in the Internet in 1995 when I built my very first website. It started out as a hobby but soon more and more people wanted websites.

I then soon realized that a website with no traffic is downright useless so I taught myself search engine optimization. A few years later I set up a consultancy providing search engine optimization services to businesses.

Q. So what was it that made you get into Internet marketing?

A. I just saw that it was what everyone on the Internet wanted to know about. From guys in their bedroom with a hobby website right through to multimillion dollar companies - everyone wants to know how to get more traffic to their website and get more visitors. So it started from there really.

I started helping people get onto the first page of search engines and everything was going really well. Too well actually!

Q. What do you mean by 'too well'?

A. In the end word starting spreading about my consultancy and what started by just being a service I provided to local companies in the UK ended up being called upon by companies around the world including the US and New Zealand! This was great for a time but in the end it became too much - I had too many clients wanting my services and not enough hours in the day to help them all!

Q. So what did you do?

A. Simple. I made the realization that there was only one of me but that the most valuable 'asset' I had was the knowledge in my head about how to do Internet marketing. So that's when I started producing information products that I could create one time and then sell many times to people all around the world.

Q. Thanks for that background - so what would your advice be to people wanting to get started with Internet marketing?

A. You have to start out with the end in mind and set objectives for your website and goals for yourself personally. Once you do this you have the right 'compass' to head off in the right direction.

Getting traffic is the lifeblood of any website and the key thing to remember is that you don't need to do everything. You can just become proficient at one single traffic generation method and get a lot of traffic that way.

Q. What are some of the mistakes you see people making in Internet marketing?

A. I see a lot of people focusing too much on getting new traffic rather than trying to get more response and more sales from their existing traffic. Unless you have literally just gone live right this minute you will always be getting some amount of traffic.

The key to success is not always to be looking to pour new traffic into the site but improve the relationship you have with each person that is already finding your website.

Q. Can you give us some examples?

A. Sure. Most people need to be told about a particular offer or opportunity seven times before they take action on it so unless you have some way of achieving this with people coming to your website then you won't make many sales!

You can achieve this by getting people onto a mailing list. Give them something free and of value so they will join your mailing list and you can build a relationship with them.

It's simple really - the more you can help people and build up trust with them the more they will like you, trust you and take action on your recommendations.

Q. So how exactly can you do this?

By doing this I am showing you that I know what I'm talking about, my advice makes you more money and that I am to be trusted. A. Not at all. You just need to give something away that people want. Help people overcome the challenges and hurdles they have in their life in whichever area you are focusing on. This way you are demonstrating to them that you can help and you understand their position.

It's strange but you start off in Internet marketing thinking that it's all about search engines, the technology and the Internet. But it's not. It's just like any other business.

It's about people - the quicker you realize this and start building meaningful relationships with as many people online as you can the shorter your road to success will be!
